Australia
So right now we have simultaneous fires, floods, hail storms and massive dust storms engulfing entire towns.
End of days shit.
So right now we have simultaneous fires, floods, hail storms and massive dust storms engulfing entire towns.

No it's not.
You Aussies are a tough and resilient bunch. You will not only survive, you will THRIVE! And I will visit your beautiful country and New Zealand later this year.
๐
Of course itโs not!
The footage of the dust storms rolling in could fool you though. Like something from Mad Max Fury Road.
Glad youโre visiting us ๐
I was there for 3 weeks last August - Awesome place.

No, not really. I know that the dishonest MSM exaggerates everything. It's always doomsday with those assholes!
And thanks, I'm looking forward to it!

Some incredible images here:

Wow! Thanks for those. It kind of reminds me of my storm chasing trips in Tornado Alley here in the US.
I've been on four trips, and seen 30 tornadoes, a few up close and personal.
Don't worry, you'll be okay, and things will return to normal eventually. I was thinking of visiting your country and New Zealand in March, but all the trips are full. So we tourists are still coming despite everything.
Good luck, and I hope things turn around quickly.

Standard Aussie summer, gale force winds just around the corner.
shareStandard in an unprecedented kind of way.
shareNot really, we have bushfires every year to varying degrees. After the heat we have a period of heavy rain and winds. Haven't checked the forecast but wouldn't be surprised if there are cyclones coming off the coast of QLD and WA.
We have an estimated one billion animals killed by bushfire every year? Come now.
shareOh my god! I don't watch or read the news, so didn't know just how bad things are for you down under ๐ฅ
shareThis video shows the horror of the fires in Australia. The Koala is now considered to be extinct as the breeding farms have been wiped out. 2 firemen killed, and about 20 civilians killed. Over one billion animals lost...many unique to Australia.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHGgKRDHHvU
To clarify, the koala population has certainly been devastated, but they are not extinct just yet. The extinction process has been power-boosted though.
The RSPCA, other wildlife protection groups, and the general public have been working tirelessly to save as many injured animals as possible. The footage I won't share. The animals with their eyelids burnt shut screaming in agony is too much to expect others to witness, suffice to say they are images that I'll never forget.
This whole "oh it's just Australia, business as usual" attitude I expect from the idiots in government, but when everyday people deny what's in front of their eyes because of an underlying agenda, no time for it I'm sorry.
The following is in an article which will cause me to lose sleep. ๐ฅ The breeding farm koalas have been burned alive. Iโm sobbing ๐ข๐ญ
Koalas have been declared โfunctionally extinctโ and their future is looking increasingly bleak. In New South Wales alone, itโs estimated 8,000 โ 30% of the population โ have been killed.

Please folks, donate if you can. Australiaโs animals desperately need help.

People need to see the horror to comprehend the Australia fires are not something to be dismissed! They need to see the agony of the pitiful creatures, hoping no further joking about โbarbecue koalaโ is ever posted again on this board!! ๐ญAnyone with a genuine empathetic heart cannot help but be saddened by the images. I donated funds, so I hope others are able to do so.
I don't understand what you're getting at.
shareJust wondering where this often quoted one billion animals killed figure comes from. Out of some journalists arse perhaps ?
From the University of Sydney website:
https://sydney.edu.au/news-opinion/news/2020/01/08/australian-bushfires-more-than-one-billion-animals-impacted.html
and don't play coy Forsaken, you know exactly what I'm getting at. After 45 years I think I know when I see the worst season I've lived through.
I never seen bush fires last this long, nor the amount of smoke around Melbourne
shareI'm old enough to remember the Ash Wednesday fires of the 80's and was close enough to the fires a few years ago to be on standby for evacuation.
Bushfires happen every year here. Are these ones very bad even by our standards, yes they are but they can't be claimed to be the only extreme bushfires we've ever had either.
Weird how the last few days they haven't been talking about this that much in the news.
shareI was horrified when I saw a fire map of the country. I mean, I live in CA, where we have to deal with them every summer, but after seeing what Australia's going through, summer/autumn of 2018 in northern CA looks like a picnic by comparison. I have a friend on discord who's been filling me in on the fires over in Melbourne, and it looks really ugly.
Please tell me you guys are getting some international help. This is way too big a problem for just Australians to have to deal with alone.
For those of you outside Australia, I'll provide the fire map link I found:
https://myfirewatch.landgate.wa.gov.au/map.html
We have had a lot of international help, especially from New Zealand, Canada and the USA.
The worrying thing is we still have two months left of the fire season. Just have to hope for the best.
Thanks for your kind words and concern. It's nice to know that people outside of Australia care what's happening down here.
My God. Please take shelter as best you can and above all - live.
I'm not much for religion and praying, but tonight you, your countrymen, and especially all your loved ones have ours.
Please be safe.
Thank you Cruz. It's surprising to see someone show genuine concern rather than being dismissive or cynical. I really appreciate it. You're a good guy.
shareI believe that the negativity that is so often expressed on line is a result of the anonymity. Like small children giving mom and dad the middle finger!
Please be careful and let everyone know that The Yanks are thinking about all of you ;)
Sounds like those climate change activists claims becoming reality.
