MC Awards (Not Oscars)
Why not have our own categories for MC? Best _____, Best that, Best poster, Best Thread starter, Greatest Film Knowledge, Best Film Recommender, etc..
If you have any good ideas for categories, reply...

I nominate myself for some kind of humanitarian award.
Edit: Should that not come to pass, I'll settle for Mr. Congeniality
Most drumming videos category by a landslide😄

shareSweet Lord was that annoying!
So bad I listened to the whole thing😃
Gotta love Youtube comments, here's the first one on that link...
'Imagine the chaos of rigid, off tempo, varying intensity thrusts when this guy is giving it to his wife.'
C'mon, that's a classic comment😂
I've seen that before , the man is a hero.
shareKeith Moon is still alive!!! LMAO
sharenyc - #1 friend to animals
sharegreatest film knowledge - a tie between Fred and Allaby.
shareHummm nah, No ones is close to Fred. Not even damo.
shareI think we need clear criteria to define what greatest film knowledge means. Is it based on technical knowhow? History of film? Or is it based on who has watched the most obscure films or the most classics? Depending on the criteria, I think I could match Fred or at least come close.
shareTo put it in the simplest way: The one who saw the biggest amount of movies.
From my weekly thread there are a lot of movies you haven’t seen.
I don’t know if I found a movie that Fred hasn’t seen yet...
It all depends on the movie. Some of the movies you watched in the weekly thread don't really appeal to me, but I have seen quite a few obscure or independent films, as well as classics and foreign language films. I bet there are movies I have seen that Fred hasn't seen. I doubt Fred has seen:
Camp New: Humble Pie (2017)
American Orpheus (1992)
Virtual Love (1993)
Go in the Wilderness (2013)
Todo un caballero (1947)
All the Way to Paris (1966)
Sophie's Place (1986)
Ava & Gabriel: A Love Story (1990)
The Anniversary (2014)
The World and the Woman (1916)
I would bet he has seen at least three of them

Damo is king of Having Watched the Most Obscure Movies!
shareI nominate Kowalski for the most persistent CAPS LOCK use.
shareYou beat me to it. 👍
shareI've come to terms with it
shareYou and I merely adopted the caps; but Kowalski was born in it, moulded by it. He didn't type any lowecase letter until he was already a man, by then it was nothing to him but BLINDING!
shareHe’s very strict about it, almost like a monk but his vow is to never use lower case.
shareThe burning mystery is why is his user name in upper and lower case? 🤔
shareHe was young and rebelious when he typed that username. Regretted it every day since.
shareGreat idea! Suggestions:
Nicest poster
Funniest poster
Best couple
Most mischievous poster
Cutest poster
Mischievous poster I nominate zepher_cape.
Nicest - Glenellen
Best couple is a throuple, KOWALSKI-tcrum-hownos.
I think those are good solid choices in their categories!
shareI have a lot of free time.
You got any nominations?
Here are a few:
Whoever started the bakers dozen game deserves recognition.
Someone here was an Irishman fanatic before it even came out and posted frequently.
Most video game threads.
Shogun is most hospitable to newcomers.
*Shogun is most hospitable to newcomers*
This is true
bananaman started the baker's dozen
shareWe shall nominate him and hope he returns to give his acceptance speech.
shareI wondered who started it. No baker's dozen threads when I had to take a long hiatus, then they were all over the place when I came back.
It's a good game. Thanks bananaman, wherever you are.
