I never makes sense to me why Mods do that without explanation. How do you know what to do/not do if they don't explain why they removed the thread?

I also see it as a courtesy. Just deleting a thread without telling the OP comes across as pretty nasty. I would say though they considered it Political and didn't like it in the General chat area.
