I walked to school (2 miles)by myself in the first grade.

We had play guns that looked like guns and some had caps that made a loud noise.

The mid 1970's....

G.I. Joe was a foot tall and almost all the joints were articulate. He talked, his hair and beard almost felt real. The accessories seemed endless. He had guns! Lol!

Don't really remember the names. In the late '70s, living at S.H.A.P.E. they were very popular. When the 5" high replacements with the "kung-fu" grip came out elementary school me was very unhappy lol.
