I know I'm in the minority when I say this but I found Jurassic Park /// to be a more fun, pure adventure movie. I know 3 borrowed leftovers in the first book not shown in the two movies before it, probably because they were not as interesting.
The result, in my opinion, reminded me of those old Tarzan jungle serials, which I dearly love for the escapism. The first two Jurassic Park movies were a little too scary for my taste.
