shareIf I took y’alls list to heart there wouldn’t be anything for me to watch. The following I definitely enjoyed.
Law and Order...every version. Couldn’t get enough of it! Even watched L & O U.K.
Band of Brothers...OMGosh how anyone could slam that production is beyond me. I bought the set.
Castle...Loved it!

Sherlock
Newhart....One of the funniest tv programs to air. He was priceless with his very dry sense of humor.
Happy Days...Good family tv
Star Trek...Another priceless series. The beginning to all of our great Sci-Fi.
I don’t like today’s sitcoms so they aren’t watched.
I feel that with Star Trek if I gave it serious attention I’d like it but don’t want to become a Trekkie.
shareIf you never watched the original series and began to watch it now you would realize how “cheesy”, as my granddaughter says, the sets were. The budget was so limited in ‘69. Aluminum foil covered cardboard, Christmas lights, etc. made the sets. But, to us, with color tv becoming more available in American homes, this new venture was filmed in glorious color! You had to live it in order to understand the excitement over this totally new outer space program. All the previous space programs were filmed in B & W with so much fakery. TOS appeared to be real to us.
Gene Roddenberry was a genius. I don’t think he realized what was to come when he opened that door to the future. So many ground breaking social changes came from our beloved “Star Trek”....
