shareI don't count calories. At one point when I was young and more obsessed, I did, and it didn't help anything.
It's more important to aim for eating healthy and paying attention to your body's signals. Eat only when you're hungry, eat mindfully, stop when you're feeling satisfied.
There are some conditions - mental and physical - that complicate that. But, for most people, this is sufficient.
You can read more about it in a book called "Diets Don't Work" by Bob Schwartz. I'm not associated, just read it years ago and found the principles made sense and worked for me, although I can't say I've always applied them in times of stress and upheaval.
I don´t. I think its more important to look at the type of foods you are eating over calorie counting.
