ok, then i'll mention the fighter. it's probably my fav.
it's a cheat to mention this, but i think the mma film 'warrior' is truly great, & i would rate that as my favourite sports film by far, & one of my favourite films of the decade.

What a cast, great movie
To me there can be no answer other than Rocky...I love all of those films but the first especially.
But a couple outside the box films with boxing scenes, Snake Eyes (not a great movie but I really like the long continuous shot at the beginning while Nicholas Cage is at the boxing match in Vegas). Another is Popeye from 1980 which is just an odd to look at film which has a boxing match fairly early on.
