a ghost story
(rec) - effective, atmospheric horror films in general almost certainly work better late at night, but this one in particular really benefits.

Just about any movie where I am alone at night and concentrating is a good way to watch something. Many years ago Terminator was on late night. I was up and Mom couldn't sleep so we watched it. Not the type of movie I would associate with Mom but she was riveted. Might have been on VHS.
