It's weird how some guys luck into really good bands but other equally skilled players never get very far
I am not sure how YT put that African music link in my recommended list, nor why I listened to it since I don't know much about African music. I do like some World Music though. Those guys are pretty fascinating ... it's like a different universe with different music ... certainly a different culture. It transported me.
The Russian Group is awesome. They've done a whole slew of Chicago songs punched up and re-arranged that sound better than the originals, which sounded pretty good already.
Martin Skews has done a lot of stuff on his YTY page, and he is amazing doing these whole songs himself ... an awesome talent.
ScribbleTunes just struck me as a so intimate and original I really liked her rendition of Baker St.
