I'm just getting into him, his lyrics and songs are so cool, I know a few of his songs already like No Regrets and Jackie but most of rest I'm discovering with boyish glee on YouTube!

Next has fun lyrics too! https://youtu.be/gR3W6vmgg_I

Nutcracker Suite - Tchaikovsky (First break out by me this Christmas season)

It's very pretty
I don't know how things are out there by you but I recall you're an OG New Yorker

Things are batty here with these Covid lockdowns, we went to several tree farms this morning and they were all sold out
People are saying lights are hard to find too...It seems everyone is so cooped up that they went bananas for Christmas decorating (my woodsy little cul de sac neighborhood looks like Times Square at night, which is nice)

I am so glad I moved, but that is a reflection on NYC not upstate...sorry to hear it is not so great there as well. Right across the border from here in California...well we've all read about crazy California. Nevada isn't as crazy but obviously the casinos have been hit hard...as a retired person it hasn't affected me that much, I don't have a job to lose. Plenty of food and supplies at the stores. I don't know of any covid cases in my building. I picked a good time to quit drinking, bar closures doesn't affect me anymore. Restaurants are still mostly open.

Going to see the Nutcracker was an almost annual (sometimes we skipped a year) tradition when I was a kid. At the New York State Theater in Lincoln Center. For those that don't know, the Suite is a selection of numbers from the full length ballet.

The fact that it is the Sinfonia Rotterdam is a coincidence, but makes me imagine Stratego in the audience.

I can't complain, my boss has been pretty great during everything (though the poor Lady is starting to get frazzled, you can see it in her frantic emails) and we are currently working from home...the poor service industry workers have gotten hit very hard though

Construction and tree service guys are having a field day...with everyone skipping vacations and gatherings they all seem to be investing in home upgrades

Strange days man, but at least we have Stratego to think bout😃
