I have just purchased Neil Young's latest album release titled Homegrown from iTunes and have burned the 12 tracks onto a cd.
This album was recorded back in late 1974/early 1975, and although some songs were previously released, the actual album was never released until yesterday.
The songs are ...
. 1) Separate Ways
. 2) Try
. 3) Mexico (not a cover of the James Taylor song)
. 4) Love Is a Rose*
. 5) Homegrown**
. 6) Florida
. 7) Kansas
. 8) We Don't Smoke It
. 9) White Line***
10) Vacancy
11) Little Wing**** (not a cover of the Jimi Hendrix song)
12) Star of Bethlehem*****
* Linda Ronstadt released a country version of this song in 1975. Neil Young released it on 'Decade' in 1977
** rerecorded with Crazy Horse and released on 'American Stars 'n Bars' in 1977
*** rerecorded with Crazy Horse during the 'Ragged Glory' sessions in 1990
**** rerecorded and released on 'Hawks and Doves' in 1980
***** released on 'American Stars 'n Bars' in 1977
