I didn't know that's where the Austin Powers theme came from...I always thought it was original to the movie.
sharei actually had no idea this was used in austin powers until i read the comments in that yt link (i've never seen any of those films).
canadians of a certain vintage know that track because it was used for years as the theme to the incredibly cheesy game show 'definition.'
that's almost certainly how mike myers knew it, i bet.
