I love an old commercial on TV where a Mom-type is sitting on a couch reading a magazine when we hear the opening to "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" by the Stones, presumedly coming from a kid's bedroom.
She walks over to the door, raps on it and shouts ...

shareLately I've been listening to the 'World Premiere Recording' of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Sunset Boulevard' from July, 1993. As far as singing, Glenn Close can't compete with Patti Lupone. Love when she first makes her presence known, by yelling 'You there...why are you so late?' from behind the darkness.
