How about Fateful Findings, The Room and the Birdemic series to start with?

Go down the rabbit hole of these ... special movies ... if you wish. I have to some degree and don't regret it one bit.

There is a Canadian film called "Cube" (1997). It's a great and smart thriller, but pretty much every actor could take an acting lesson.
