shareI have a tube in my left ear. Have you tried having a tube inserted....it relieves the pressure. I’ve had 3 Tympanoplasties, reconstructing the eardrum to no avail. Two cholesteatomas....the first one ate into the mastoid bone.

Shoggie, it is awful, but others have it worse. Maybe we should have a thread “List Your Worse Physical Ailment (s)”. Not for a pity party, but perhaps seeing those who do have it worse. Hopefully we would shelve for a while the “woe is me” attitude and as a result have more empathy for others.

shareI had that happen to me too. I kept hearing something bouncing around in my ear when I would lie down to go to sleep at night. It drove me crazy! I finally went to my doctor and found that I had a bundle of ear wax. The doctor spray washed it out. What a relief.
