Guilty pleasures - mine is 80s Hair Metal!

I know I shouldn’t like it, but I do.

Emo bands... My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Simple Plan. I'm not even emo lol, but I enjoyed their music a tiny lil' bit more than I probably should.

And no! It's not a phase, Mom!

Who the Hell wants guilt? Pleasure is pleasure.

You seem to be missing the "fun" gene.

How would you know??? You can't even watch more than 10 seconds of a K-Pop video!😤

David Coverdale is such a creep, if not for the cheesiness I don't think I could finish watching these vids.😖

reply

most of the 1980s music was cheesy yet fun. why is he a creep ??

reply

Just look at him! Ugh!

I disagree most 80s music was cheesy.

reply

I don't think Culture Club, Erasure and Dexy Midnight Runners were groundbreaking. They were fun and I still enjoy the stuff.

reply

You don't have to be groundbreaking to NOT be cheesy. It's not one or the other, Mitch. Culture Club isn't cheesy, it's camp!

I love the 80s, it was probably the best decade for pop music.

reply

Campy or cheesy ? I think we are splitting hairs and basically agree. I heard 'Come On Eileen' on the radio today and turned it up loud.

Hallmark Christmas movies, cheesy kids movies, the Twilight movies, and the Fifty Shades of Grey movies.

How did I not give you shit about this 5 years ago?

Crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights.
