Desparate for a Moviechat app

We’re lucky that the site is still here at all.
What benefit(s) do you see in an app? Personally, I hate having to constantly deflect advertisements for a website's app.
Yelp is particularly annoying in that regard. You search for something and click on a result that links to Yelp. Instead of seeing the page you were searching for, you see a giant red screen hawking their app with a tiny link to "proceed to the mobile website".
No thanks, I don't want your app because I already have an app that works perfectly well for your site and every other site -- it's called a browser.

shareI find app's better suited to finger browsing than websites sized strange using the browser. And to the content below - I am not a millennium, I am in my 40's. I am grateful for this site, I should post more, I hope you guys are still enjoying the site.

Early, or mid-late 40's? If you're early 40's you're a millenial; mid to late, you're GenX.

these terms are all too muddy now,
especially "milennial" half people think it means born around 2000, half think it means became an adult at 2000
Can't really argue with these generation terms being pretty ambiguous. I myself (turning 60 this year) am generally lumped in as a "boomer", but there's a little known generation classification between boomer & GenX that I'm apparently part of (Generation Jones). Really does seem to be as many generation definitions as there are (so called) "experts" making these definitions.
