Favorite Christmas films made before 1960?

Please suggest all the films you like to watch during Christmas, and I don't mean just films set around Christmas, just films that you like to traditionally watch around this holiday that happen to be made at least before 1960, usually just b/w oldies. There's something comforting about them for me to watch during holidays.

White Christmas. I love the color of that movie when its on TV. I dont know if they went back and added it in or what but it just puts me in a trance.

"White Christmas" (1954) was shot in color. Not to be confused with "Holiday Inn" (1942), which was in black & white. "Holiday Inn" actually introduced the song "White Christmas."

I think people sometimes confuse the two, partly because they both involve an inn, a very similar-looking inn. The name of the Holiday Inn hotel chain was inspired by this film.

"White Christmas" is one of my favorite Christmas movies, alongside "It's a Wonderful Life."
