shareGrocery items at our regional home improvement chain, Menards. Everything from bread and milk to frozen foods - no fresh produce or meat, though. My concern is that if they're not a true grocery store, are they abiding by food-safe procedures since grocery is not their specialty or focus.

shareI've wondered about them, but I'm not a Walmart shopper. Target family here. One of my sons used to be a produce supervisor, so I know he got a lot of training on "best practices" for handling it. I believe he knows more about choosing good produce than I do!
