I think that way some times, but not all the time. The glass is half full.

It's hard because it is true, hitting close to home in my field of study.

Axiom of the funeral service: Reverence for the dead.

"The disinfection, sanitation, and preservation of dead human remains, to recreate natural form and color one once had in life."
- What's been drilled into my head forever for all time.

The funeral business. Fascinating. Did you ever watch the highly acclaimed (8.7 on IMDB) HBO Series
"Six Feet Under"?

reply

Not yet. It's slowly going up on my list of things to watch. I hear it has one of the best endings for a series ever.

reply

I haven't seen it because I didn't have HBO until just recently. I got it in a package when I ordered Showtime to be able to watch the Twin Peaks Sequel.

I've heard from colleagues that it is very realistic in the day-to-day life of a funeral home. A glowing recommendation if you need one. I have a season of it buried somewhere. (^ ^)

reply

Yes, I knew it was good back when it was on HBO. Only problem is there's five seasons, probably too many to plow through now.

I know what you mean, especially if it's a serialized show, where the episodes overlap into a single, ongoing story arch, which I'm sure it does.

reply

Yeah, and you sorta have to watch from the very beginning.
