What is your pet peeve in traffic?

Assholes who do not in fact have driver’s licenses.

Those who subscribe to the rule, “Absent brain, substitute horn.”

Those who don’t read English.

Those who, lacking an actual US driver’s license, can’t read English.

Those so-called Third World motorists who don’t comprehend that our traffic MOVES TO THE RIGHT.

The intellectually-challenged who, probably lacking an actual US driver’s license, do not pull half-way into an intersection before making a left-hand turn, which THE LAW mandates, but instead quiver on the corner BEFORE the actual intersection, with their left-turn directional light on (or, more likely, not), then attempt to cut the tangent of the turn, holding up all traffic behind them, and breaking the law. Assholes who neither know nor care that the law in every US state stipulates that you CANNOT enter an intersection unless you can drive FULLY THROUGH that intersection so that, if the traffic light in your direction of travel turns red, you are not left blocking the intersection and creating a, you know, moron-induced traffic jam.

Not that I’ve given this much thought, or anything.

Slowboats in left lane; speeders in right lane

Passing on the right.

Drivers that don’t know how to merge or do 4-way stops or roundabouts

Motorcycles that lane split

Dilly-dalliers at green lights who slow down way too soon but make it thru the light but everyone behind who could have made it too gets stuck there

Teenage drivers

The share my gawd awful music with everyone at the red light

Drunk drivers, high drivers, road ragers

People using a cell phone while driving, even though it's illegal in the state where I live. It really ticks me off when I'm at a stop signal and the person ahead of me doesn't move when the signal turns green. I let him have it with my horn!

Old fogies going half the speed limit and someone coming up really fast on the passing lane.

People who use their turn signals only at the last second....

MoFos who don't understand how the Green Arrow works, especially the ones that mozy along and screw the line of cars backed up behind them so long as they get through.

When people pull out right in front of you and cut you off.

I mostly go by bike, so other cyclists that go against traffic and pedestrians on the bike path.
