Dear fast food places
No one wants the fish sandwich !!!
shareEspecially when they only put a hint of tartar sauce on it.
shareI'm with you both on this one, more sauce would make it more appealing to general consumers. In some parts of the world McD's will give you two Filets in a bun with 2 cheese and some decent amount of sauce - but not in the West for some reason.
That's why I don't go to McDonald's unless I'm in a country where I just want something I can recognise quickly.
Technically Muslims can eat it is it isn't prepared in the same area as other foods.
You see taking a fish from the ocean is technically halal and, as long as it doesn't interact with any non-halal goods can be served up and eaten as proper food.
It's kosher also - but keep the concepts apart.
Fish is steamed in a different area and uses different bread rolls and condiments to achieve a fast food which is acceptable for people with a particular palette.
You don't need to buy it Bucky but they do sell enough of them to keep the work area where it is.
My late Mother used to turn her nose up at fish complaining that it was "too fishy". ""Mom," I would reply "that's like saying you don't like a steak cause it's too beefy."
She never had much of an answer for that one, bless her!

Swap it for a Ted Danson
shareI didn't know Peter Noone wants the fish sandwich. Thanks for the heads up!
shareI like the fish sammiches! If you're talking McD's, Froggy's right, they need to put more tartar sauce on it than briefly hovering a spatula over it, and the buns suck.
There's a local fast food joint that serves a great fish sammich! Fresh grilled local-caught fish, a good bun, and fresh fixings.
