Question to Americans only

I want to describe a product I am inventing and use the word ‘tuning’. I know Americans prounce it as “too-ning” but in Aus we make tu “chu”, so it’s “chuning”.

Would I need to americanize this when speaking to Americans?

I suspect plenty of Americans would know what you mean due to the context in which you're using chuning.
