Scariest thing you ever saw on TV?
Ronette's dream during the last moments of the season two premiere of "Twin Peaks" caught me off-guard and scared me like few moments in TV ever have.

shareWhen I was younger (oh man I feel old when I say that, although I'm not yet 30), I used to really like those "true ghost story" type of shows. When I was a kid some of them scared me. The best ones were "A Haunting in Connecticut" and "A Haunting in Georgia", particularly the former.
My dad has always watched these true crime shows. I eventually became pretty desensitized to it, but when I was little some of it got to me. In particular, when I was a kid sometime in the late 90s, I remember there was an episode of one of those shows which was about someone who murdered an old woman with a mail bomb. It showed a graphic photo of the woman, with her chest torn open by the bomb. That image is still seared onto my brain to this day 20 years later; I can see it as I type this. I wasn't allowed to watch any movies that might contain nudity when I was a kid, but graphic bloody carnage that scarred me for life was no problem. 'Murica.
