Why do men commit so many more crimes than women?

Is it genetics?

You have to go with genetics, it simply how we are built and our function throughout history. We are far more aggressive, generally larger, even if we are not noticeably larger we are typically stronger than women. Men have fought the wars because they were the most appropriate to do so, we used to be the primary hunters,we are usually the primary protectors, even today. We do the heavy lifting because we are built that way. AS a result when things go bad we are far more dangerous as well, more so in terms of physically violent crimes, as far as non violent crimes I think women are far more involved than we give them credit for.

Also when it comes to murder women have a tendency to do it in ways that are not so obvious. Men often use guns, bludgeon people to death, or other violent but sometimes easily backtracked ways of disposing people. Women are more likely to poison, cause an accident, validate killing through real or fake domestic issues or hire someone else. These methods arn't foolproof but they have a higher success rate of getting away with it.

Men are the bigger, stronger builders and doers of the world. Men are the construction workers, builders, electric workers, plumbers, electricians, road workers, farmers etc., etc.

Most little boys wrestle and rough house and run around and build things. More girls are apt to play dolls and do more docile things.

It is just the differences on a macro level between men and women. This plays out when it comes to crime. The types of crimes men commit are different than the type most women commit.
