One of my favorites. Way too young.

Yeah I have seen him a few times over the years. Always a great performer. I saw him do a solo show a few months before he died. He was good, but he was totally whacked out of his mind. He only played for 35 minutes, then went backstage and passed out. Was kinda sad to see him that way

For years, every time I heard a radio news spot that began with an STP song, I held my breath, expecting they were about to announce the worst. It always turned out to be a story about his latest arrest. Until the last time it happened.

Lou Reed

I got really into his music about 10 years ago. It was a sad day when he passed. I wish i could have seen him performing live, I got a few concert dvd's that I like to check out from time to time.
