Name a title of a Movie or movies You'll never want to watch

I never want to watch The Last American Virgin and Rent.

Hunger Games. I was forced to watch the first, and I have absolutely no interest in continuing on. The American remake of Let the Right One In, Let Me In, I will never watch it on principle. Human Centipede 3, surprised I watched the first 2. I will never watch another Paranormal Activity movie, again I saw the first one and it was the definition of unscary, no interest in the rest. Also, I've been sick of zombies for about 10 years and might never watch another zombie movie again. I hated Rob Zombie's Halloween, and never made it more than 5 minutes into the sequel, and I'll never try again.

That is a shame on Let Me In, in some ways I like it better than the original.

I am still trying to work up the stomach for HC3, I have to watch it. I have seen the other two, can't leave it incomplete.

Hunger Games is another issue. I was watching it with the wife, and I still have to watch the final 2...really hate the splitting the last novel thing, it does not make 2 good movies..it makes one ok movie and one damn I hope this will end soon movie.

I think Zombie did OK on the first Halloween film, but the second was a train wreck.

reply

If you're talking about Season of the Witch, don't bother. The new one coming out in October is not H3 but Halloween, a direct sequel to the original with nothing to do with Zombies movies. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Nick Castle as the Shape.

reply

HC3 = Human Centipede 3

As for the new Halloween, yeah I am familiar with it. The more I hear about it the more likely I will just drop it on the Netflix list and get to it eventually.

reply

Oh yeah, I don't care about completion enough to weather that storm.

reply

I thought the first Hunger Games was reasonably interesting and (appropriately) disturbing. I thought J Law did a fine job.

The second one was just ok, and the third one was so predictable that I really couldn't like it at all.

reply

I catch a lot of heat for this because the artsy crowd says it's one of the greatest films ever made, but I'll never watch "Andrei Rublev" because the director felt the need to throw a horse down a flight of steps, shoot him to death and light a cow on fire (all real). Given the choice I'd rather watch Troll 2.

reply

Thanks that movie is on my never watch list too now.
Good thing it's also from the 60's my desire to watch movies from the 60's is pretty low.

reply

Really sucks before animal cruelty laws went into effect (late 60s I think?) because you never know if a killing was real before then. Sorta puts a damper on the "entertainment" huh?

House of 1000 Corpses - hate it. Just no good whatsoever imho.
Buried - I feel like there are very few movies that can successfully hold my attention when they take place in one spot. Even those that can, I wouldn't call good movies. To add, pretty much all Ryan Reynolds film pre-Deadpool seem kinda rubbish.

The Hunger Games movies.

reply

I thought the first two were ok, but the last one was terrible.

reply

Ah well, I obviously wouldn't know. But the subject just doesn't interest me in any way.

reply

That's because you lack empathy. Maybe someone should make you fight for your dinner one day!

I've been spending too much time watching my VHS tape of St. Elmo's Fire in my basement. I've lost touch with the real world and become numb inside!😔

reply

Ha! I’ve actually never seen that movie. I do like the song.

reply

Maybe you can come down to my basement next Friday and watch it with me? The other guys here on MC can tell you it will be loads of fun...for me at least.😘

reply

I don’t do basements. Bad things happen in basements. At least that’s my excuse for avoiding the treadmill I have down there 😬

reply

You don't know what you're missing!
