This show had the following voiceover before every episode, provided by Don LaFontaine, summarizing the plot of the series:
"He was a cop, and good at his job, but he committed the ultimate sin—and testified against other cops gone bad. Cops that tried to kill him, but got the woman he loved instead. Framed for murder, now he prowls the badlands...an outlaw hunting outlaws...a bounty hunter...a RENEGADE."
A 90s action-drama series that satisfies a mixed martial arts/biker fix. Created by Stephen J. Cannell.
She: Boy or girl? BOY OR GIRL??
He: It's a head!
....
He: It's a boy. No, it's a girl, it's a girl!
I got nothing
shareI've been trying to figure this one out for a while. I highly doubt this is it:
Rosemary's Baby TV miniseries?
Sorry, no. This might give it away, but it's a British show.
shareNot my forte but is it Fawlty Towers?
shareNice try, but no.
share"She" is a mother giving birth. "He" is the doctor delivering the baby.
shareOkay, doubt this is correct, but I'll guess A Bit of Fry and Laurie.
shareI have never heard of A Bit of Fry & Laurie.
Another clue - this show has both comedy and drama. Also, very popular.
I know you love British detective shows. Sounds like it could be a sketch from Monty Python's Flying Circus.
shareI used to watch A Bit of Fry & Laurie back in the 90s. The only bit I can remember, though, is a talk show parody skit that began with Stephen Fry in a suit basically looking like himself saying, "Hello, I'm Oprah Winfrey." I thought that was absolutely hilarous at the time.
share"Arrest the first naked guy you see with a dirty mouth."
share"We'll be like Tracy and Hepburn. 'What do you say, you old poop?' "
"Oh god, he's Hepburn."
The Lethal Weapon TV series?
shareI didn't even know about that. No, more of a sitcom. Although, not exactly a typical sitcom.
shareArrested Development?
Have not seen this show, hear it's a hit and a miss with most people, very clever with subtle jokes and humor that may require more than a single viewing.
The Lethal Weapon TV series is worth watching if you like the movies, not a complete rig-off or a total reboot, feel the actors catch the likeness of the main characters (Murtaugh and Riggs) while putting their own spin on it.
Yeah, this one is from Arrested Development, it's Tobias and Lindsey. If you were to classify Arrested Development as a sitcom, it's the best one I ever saw, but it does break most of the sitcom conventions, other than being about a family and being funny.
