When people say Star Track
Does that bug anyone else as much as it does me?
shareIt's either a regional dialect of which I'm not certain where it's from or as another poster has pointed out, someone unfamiliar with the show's title for any given reason. One time that I did hear it being pronounced that way, it was a person who had never watched Star Trek but was aware of it.
shareI’ve definitely heard it. It just gives me a little chuckle.
shareThe new show and movies are so bad that I wisheit were named that. Would separate it from the good Trek Paramount used to make.
shareVery funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

I've never heard it pronounced that way.
