A movie without conflict.. I'd love to see a movie with a lake in view, nature, quiet, besides some nice, easy talking, not a lot of movement. A few lazy characters. Doesn't even have to be great, I just want to remember how it felt to be outside of the city.
shareThis is tough, considering conflict is what drives most narrative, but one that came to mind is Days of Heaven, not totally conflictless, but it does make you yearn to be in that beautiful landscape.

No sorry I can't agree with you there. The film was mostly me wondering why the hell this guy was so stupid.
For example, why did he give away all his money at the first of the film? That was stupid. What if his grand plan to go into the Alaskan wilderness failed miserably? (Of course it did, spectacularly, he died.) Wouldn't he need his money later?

The Enchanted April, which is also one of my favourite movies. Some witty dialogue with depth, to boot.
