Im tense and nervous and i cant relax
I cant sleep 'cause my bed is on fire

Psycho Killer!!

Qu' est-ce que c'est!?!

Fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa far away...๐ŸŽถ

1. For a crazy pants guy i nominate Joe Spinellii in Maniac...he was chillingly insane in this horror classic!
*shoutout to Elijah Wood who did a fine job in the remake but im team Joe on this one

2. For a crazy pants gal i nominate Charlize Theron...how she could look so nuts and haggard and 'holy shit run away' is beyond me but she nailed the lunatic lady role!

Care to share a favorite scary killer performance you enjoyed?

reply

Dwight Frye (Renfield) in Dracula 1931
NOBODY does psycho better!

reply

I need to give that a look
Thanks!

reply

Oh you must Yonkers!!!

It may not be the most politically correct answer, but how about Kevin Spacey in Se7en?

Gotta love the duo Billy Loomis and Stu Macher from Scream as well. And totally cray-cray Mrs. Loomis, of course.

reply

Good list!

Loved Spacey in so many things...sadface๐Ÿ˜ž!

Scream was a good psycho duo
Well done as usual lady!

reply

Did you expect anything else?

reply

I like the rest
But youre always the best!

reply

Better than anyone
Anyone you've ever met๐Ÿ˜˜

reply

Your the best around
Nothings ever gonna take you down!

Andrew Robinson as Scorpio in Dirty Harry. He's so convincingly unhinged and lethal, and the scene where he takes over the school bus and threatens the poor children with "I'll shoot all you mutha's!" is chilling.

reply

Oh that was a good one
Very creepy!

What always unsettled me is imaging what the stranger gets up to alone all day in that old industrial hideout.

reply

Dennis Hopper as Frank Booth in Blue Velvet.

reply

Oh ive never seen it
Been meaning to
Thx

reply

One of the craziest movies you will ever experience. It stays with you for a while too. I felt a bit unsettled and sort of slimy for a few days the first time I watched it. After that? I had to see it again! And again!

reply

Jack Palance in "Shane."
Jude Law in "Road to Perdition."

reply

Oh Palance was a maniac lol!!
Didnt he do push ups on stage at the Oscars in his late 70's??
HE was baddass

I have to rewatch Perdition...its been awhile

reply

Good one ! And it is a strange movie.

reply

Some favorites are

Peter Stomare in Fargo
Ted Levine as Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs
Anthony Perkins in Psycho
Anthony Hopkins as Dr Hannibal Lector
Min-sik Choi in I Saw the Devil

reply

๐ŸŒž in the house!!

GREAT list...agree on all
I would add that I Saw The Devil was such a badass thriller and Choi was so damned scary that i havent seen many movies ive found more unforgettable

THAT was a proper psycho in a proper thriller!

reply

Yeah he was scary as hell. When I think psycho he immediately comes to mind

reply

Peter Stomare was also pretty evil in 8mm.

reply

I don't remember seeing that one. That doesn't mean I haven't seen it! Will need to give it another look.

Mrs. Danvers in "Rebecca"

Best performance I have ever seen of a Psycho Killer or any performance for that matter was Lean Olin in Romeo is Bleeding. She played psycho Russian hit lady Mona Demarkov.
