Here is a man who would NOT take it anymore!
A man who stood up against the scum, the cunts, the dogs, the filth, the shit!
Here is a man who stood up!'

-Taxi Driver

Pardon my French...i dont usually speak that way!

I don't post often these days, but when I do, it's one month later (the same applies to memes apparently). I just hope me bumping up this thread doesn't scare away any of the new people! *eye rollâ„¢*

Minny from The Help

"Eat my shit."

I mean, making a shit pie and feeding it to your racist employer is one thing. Telling her to eat your shit, that's pretty tough if you ask me.

Oh, and also:

"I ain't got time to bleed."

Just to meet the macho man quota!

reply

Im not the only one who wishes you would post more!

Glad you trademarked the eye roll...THAT there is your thing but only part of what makes you so special to many of us!

Oh damn that scene from The Help...watched it with my wife (she read and loved the book and it was her turn to pick a movie...)
Damn...i dont even think a crummy racist deserves that!
Ugghh!!!

Predator quote...classic tough guy stuff

Nice to 'see' you and thanks as always Mina

reply

I know, I know... I appreciate the sentiments!

Oh, I think that racist deserved every bite of that pie! Such a gratifying, badass moment.

reply

The sentiments are well deserved and universal around here Mina!

Maybe you are right but wow did that gross me out

- "And if you ever hit me again me, Frankie, I'll make you sorry your daddy ever squirted your ass out."

"Doyle" is one of the best characterizations of a character in film history. There is no redeeming value of this man, but, yet Yoakam instills in him something of value. It's lost in the remainder of his pathology, but, it's there. "I don't know what goes on. You freaks, I hope you have fun." LMAO!!!

The scene in the back yard/living room of Frankie's house is one of the funniest scenes in Hollywood history. I cannot imagine how long that took to get it. So many characters.

The dinner table scene. "Doyle" can never rest. No more gets his & Frankie's plates overloaded with food than an idea comes forth- "I know what I'm gonna do now." - Doyle

"Oh, Doyle, not tonight, I'm give out." - the mother

Tells Frankie to retrieve his guitar from the garage. "Yeah, now, it's out there with that loony tune. You can eat when you get back."

It's weird, but, I almost resent "Karl" splitting his head in half.

Does not contain lurid or violent language, but, it was, in this movie devastating-

- "You keep telling us about the real world. But in the real world YOU'D be a grown man competing with a bunch of tenth graders!"

- Christopher Collet/"Jake" - "First Born"

Or it could be worse if you're the father of a young child like this here:

My kid is a good negotiator.

"We read five books tonight daddy?"
"No, we don't have time for that. Maybe just two books."
*pause* "OK, we read ten books daddy?"
"You're going the wrong way, sweetie! You should say that we will read four books."
"OK, daddy. Mommy! Daddy said we read four books!" *runs off*
