How long have you left the tree up after Christmas?

I usually have it down by New Year's Day. We had a neighbor, though, when I was young, who once didn't take it down till March or April. I don't know why he did that -- he seemed like a perfectly normal person. And I don't recall him doing this any other year. Just for that one year, for whatever reason, he snapped, or something, and just couldn't take that tree down ...

I also wonder how long people keep their outside decorations up. I think it's tacky to have Christmas lights still up (and turned on) past about mid-January. But I see them well into spring! 🙄

For the past few years I’ve went to WallyWorld and if I go early enough I buy a live 3ft potted Norfolk Island Pine. It comes with a few red ribbons, no lights. That be our 🌲. Each time I plant that sucker to no avail! It dies...oh well I’ve tried.
