Been a lot of this in the last several years, but please list older ones too.

Infinity War

Thor: The Dark World

TMNT 2 Out of the Shadows

Transformers 3 or 4... The one where Cybertron is portalling into Earth orbit.

Were there sky portals in two Transformers movies?

Honorable mentions: Underwater portal in Pacific Rim, non-portal sky swirlies in original Ghostbusters and Suicide Squad, among others. Please help with honorable mentions too.

There probably aren't many older ones to site, because the technology to pull it off convincingly is still relatively new.

A couple "kind of" movies are Evil Dead 2 and The Mist. Although the mist itself is the portal in the sky,its close.
