shareWELCOME!!!
I'm from the US. I live in the mid west.
I'm glad you found your way here to this site. I hope to meet Spooky as well. Tell all of your friends about this site. We are friendly. The good news is that this site is moderated by humans. This is actually a decent site. We actually discuss films and TV in a reasonable manner.
Trolls are unwelcome! That is the BEST news!
Can I call you Bette for short. Just kidding. Ella & I thank you for the warm welcome. I hail from the beautiful harbor city of Sydney. You can call me spooky as Ella calls me or spookie as I call me ha ha. Hope to have fun here. Please play my games & quizzes all are welcome.

Sydney? Crikey! I'd love to visit there some day. I've been to 27 countries and four continents. Not bragging, well okay, maybe a little.

Hi Spookie!
You can call me Bette! You can even call me AL!
WELCOME!
I will call you AL. How long have you been on MovieChat AL? Great if you could play my quizzes.
shareLOL! I have been here since IMDb shut down it's message boards in February of this year.
I'm pleased that this site has really grown since then. It's always great to see more people here..... especially from all over the world. I love it!
Where are your quizzes? I'm up for that!
Actually, MissMargoChanning is from one of my favorite Bette Davis movies.... All About Eve.
The Al is from the Paul Simon song.
Fasten your seat belts. It's going to be a bumpy night!
Ok. I just checked your profile. I see your quizzes now.
shareLOL!
Please don't call me Al. That line is from the Paul Simon song. It simply popped into my head. Are you familiar with it?
I'm a lady. I prefer Miss Margo.
On what site did you meet Ella?
When and how did you two find MovieChat?
Thank you! π. This forum certainly is full of friendly people, and human moderators too, even better! π

Welcome Ella and Spooky from the Midwest of the USA! I love the international flavor of this web site, and we're delighted to have you on board. We'll look forward to your posts.
π
Much obliged for your welcome MovieManCin2.. got an abbreviation of that? We look forward to participating here. Hope to see you on the games/quizz thread. Ella will want to make her own acceptance speech. You try to stop her ha ha.

You're welcome, spookie. I've been called MovieMan, Mancin, or MM. One guy referred to me as old Lemon head, because in my avatar on IMDB it looked like I had a lemon on my head. It was actually a yellow reflector.
π
Welcome from Beverly Hills, California, Ella,
shareThank you yawkee24.βΊ. I would love to visit Beverly Hills! I've always wanted to see the Hollywood sign too. I'm from Liverpool, home of The Beatles.
sharesmog is not as bad as it was 20 years ago, so you can now see the Hollywood sign much clearer,
I've always wanted to visit London, I had a chance a few years back but it got cancelled, I was indirectly working for Lloyds of London and British Companies, someone else went in my place, well, those are the breaks.
Hi,Ella and welcome.I am romanian by the way and don't worry about him,his a bit shy,but he'll getting use to itπ
shareSo you do not mind whether I call you croft or alice. So is Alice fine by you.
shareJust so you know - Croft is a male.
shareWas not aware. So it will have to be croft then.
shareWhatever makes you feel better,i don't mind at allπ
shareTell us a bit about Romania. PM if you wish.
shareYou don't know about Romania?...alright,then.It's a small and beautiful country with long history, but after '89 is ruled by incompetents bastards.Sorry for my language.
shareMissed this post until now. I know of Romania. Part of the Soviet Blok for decades under the brutal leadership of the hated Cheusescu (forgive spelling). The Carpathians are in Romania if memory serves. So it is home of Dracula (Count Dracule).
shareI knew you wouldn't be. Plenty of folks, including me, got confused by the Alice part. π
