I have so many jagoffs on Ignore that I'm only seeing Shogun's reply here. Only one tosser's reply will block all the worthy posters who reply. To all of you who don't play with yourselves: I hope that you enjoy an extra hour of snoozing.

"Won't read it...reading too much as a kid caused me problems with my eyes, now i have to wear glasses my entire life...i make no promises on this."

Hold on here! Just hold on! I'm attempting to understand this correctly!
You wear glasses now simply because you read "too much" as a child. That is the only reason you have to wear glasses now?
Trust me. Reading "too much" isn't the only reason.
If I were you, I'd quit the video games as well. Looking at that screen and all of that action will BLIND you!
Go read something, and my post dosen't count.

reply

I read at least 200 pages per day when i was younger.

reply

that was pre Resident Evil

reply

Indeed,it was pre...i should've wore the glasses much earlier,but i didn't saw the signs.

reply

I use to read in bed all night when I was in my teens and early 20's..... books on many subjects, but mostly fiction. romance, horror, biographys, true crime..... I still enjoy a good book, but I have to sit upright these days or I end up falling asleep. That's called getting older.
I have to wear glasses now, but it has nothing to do with reading too many books. It's called getting older.
I keep saying, broaden your horizons, croft.
While games may be fun, there are other things in this world besides Tomb Raider and Lara.
Just don't blame poor eye sight on reading too much.

reply

That made no sense

reply

its already dark at 5:06 pm very depressing

reply

That is the reason I hate this. It starts to get dark around 4:00. So depressing....

reply

Have as nice trip, see you next fall!

reply

Jerry Brown in CA vetoed a bill to drop DST ... I hate it, and I think it serves no useful purpose, if it ever did.

reply

Ben Franklin, the killjoy who counseled "early to bed, and early to rise" proposed the notion before his discovery of electricity resulted in the electric light. I think it's a stupid idea. Recent studies have found that DST actually results in the US consuming MORE energy, because people drive their cars more when sundown is delayed. Perhaps the Energy Industry keeps promilgating this idea that long ago outlived its usefulness.

reply

plus very few of us own and operate farms these days.

reply

I suspect most farmers don't care what the clock says. They work from sunrise to sunset and beyond. I wish the US would just pick one time and stick with it year-round. I don't care if it's daylight saving or standard time - just do it.

reply

Every f'ing time the clock changed I have to go through an remember how to change the setting on about 10 things, and it takes about 1/2 hour. It is a waste of time.
