Madonna is happy she moved
Good riddance
shareMy mother was speaking of people such as her when she warned me during my childhood about charlatans. Madonna took the money of millions of naive young girls and laughed all the way to the bank. She will miss the US when she realizes that there is not the freedom of speech in most other countries that exists in the US. I always suspected people such as her as having a need to control others and is seeking an environment where she could become politically powerful. She needs to remember that in a lot of areas outside of the US that with power comes danger. I am still waiting for Hillary to buy an one way ticket out of the US. More sour grapes that someone dared trip her up on the runway carpet to attempt to be supreme leader (the title of President not fully describing Clinton's "greatness").
shareI remember something she said to Dick Clark on American Bandstand years ago.....
She smiled and said she wanted to rule the world.

She may have laughed all the way to the bank but back then she gave those naive girls a great show and they loved it.

why didn't she move to Italy with the other Madonna?
shareThe other...Madonna?
shareMona Lisa...... the famous painting.
shareOh...that Madonna...i understand now,thank you MissMargo.
shareYou are most welcome.
shareit's not the Mona Lisa
shareThen tell me more. I am here to learn.
shareA Madonna is a representation of Mary, either alone or with her child Jesus. These images are central icons for both the Catholic and Orthodox churches. The word is from Italian ma donna, meaning 'my lady'
The Madonna of Bruges is a marble sculpture by Michelangelo of Mary with the Child Jesus.
nothing to do with Mona
I understand that, and thank you.
The Mona Lisa was also referred to as the Madonna.
yes, the word Mona is an address such as Ma'am or madam also ma donna, The word Mona in Italian just happens to mean Madonna or ma lady, in English it became Madonna, but Leonardo painted the Mona Lisa as the Mona Lisa, not Madonna, however, Leonardo da Vinci, along with many other artists such as Duccio, Michelangelo, Raphael, Giovanni Bellini, Caravaggio and Rubens, after or before the Mona Lisa, actually painted the Madonna, 2 separate paintings.
shareThe Moana Lisa is not the Mona Lisa?
shareI think da vinci will turn in his grave if he will know about this....
shareAt least years ago people in Italy did not play nice when it came to outspoken celebrities. The "pool" in Portugal probably looks more inviting not to mention safer than Italy or Greece. As far as the UK goes she probably found that the majority of people tuned her out which no doubt was cold water on her ego.
shareHer music hasn't been good since 1999.
shareI feel sorry for the Portuguese. I remember when there was a rumor she bought an apartment in my hometown. That was a scary time.
shareI'm happy she moved too.
