Currently I am supposed to be watching a movie with someone and they keep getting me to pause it so they can answer the telephone. So yeah, that is something that annoys me.

People who excessively use the same emoji or exclamation marks at the end of a sentence in order to appear emphatic. One is enough.

My understanding is, that a well written article should contain only one exclamation mark, if necessary.
Granted, given today's internet, I often make concessions when it comes to grammar, just to keep the peace. On FB for example, you and I would be labeled as " grammar nazis. "
I'm annoyed by actors or actresses that act like they are somewhat disadvantaged, mistreated or even *gasp* discriminated by Hollywood while actually are not.
shareI thought of something else that annoys me, while watching A Street Cat Named Bob last night. Good movie, BTW, despite its terrible title and poster.
It bugs me when shows or movies show an animal, and feel *compelled* to dub in a bark or meow, or whatever other sound the animal makes, when it makes absolutely no sense they would be barking/meowing/whatevering at that moment. As though the audience is too stupid to realise it really is a cat in the shots, unless they dub in a bunch of meows.
It happens more with cats than with dogs, I've noticed, when 90% of the time the cat would be silent.
It's along the same lines as no one ever saying goodbye when they hang up the phone.
Yeah the hanging up on everyone is insane. Why do they do that??
And the fake pet noises reminded me of when they have a fake baby and play sounds of a baby crying. This is so annoying. I doubt they do it on newer shows..but oh my its cringe worthy.
I don't know why they do it! It makes no sense. Can't be about reducing time because having a character say goodbye takes all of a second.
Yes, fake baby sounds too! Even if it's a real baby, often they dub in cooing and gurgling baby noises. I think they still do it.
