RIP George Romero and Martin Landau
Lost them both today...a great character actor and pretty much the creator of the zombie/living dead genre. Shame.

shareSpeaking of Mr Landau, I have a taped VHS of the Woody Allen film Crimes and Misdemeanors. Landau carries the movie, but the late, great Jerry Orbach has a large role as well. I once lent it to a friend who was a big Law & Order / Orbach fan, and I was pleased to have this minor gem to share, and it was fun to see Landau in a leading role. Good stuff.
And all my best to the Mission Impossible fans. Very cool show.
Oh yeah! Also a fan of the sardonic Lennie Briscoe who helps one to see the world as it is.
share"Mission Impossible" and "Star Trek" broadcasted in the same seasons...1966 thru 1969. It didn't get any better TV than those years! Out of the box programming! Of course MI continued while the "powers that be" canceled "Star Trek". Little did they know the results of the giant door they had opened, then shut with the airing of this new, vividly colored futuristic space program. "Where no man has gone before..."
shareI hope someone remembered to tie Romero's shoe laces together. You know, just in case.
shareMartin Landau was great in the Mission Impossible tv series. I'm on season three. The only member of the original cast still alive is Barbara Bain.
