"The Secret History" by Donna Tartt

On the very, very top of that list for me is The Long Walk by Stephen King writing as Richard Bachman. Loooooooooooooooong overdue!!!! It was published 38 years ago and it's excellent!!

Blood Meridian but they'll probably find a way to ruin it. I'd also like to see a faithful big budget films of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey (although there's apparently a Netflix series on the Trojan War in development).

The Bible. But with a Game of Thrones style treatment.

I'd like to see a horror film made about the second coming of Jesus where he unleashes the apocalypse to pay us back for crucifying him.

The Ezekiel "Easy" Rawlins books would make great film noir, the first book was turned into a movie back in the 90's with Denzel Washington in the lead role but there are so many more Easy Rawlins adventures written, it’s sad to see them go ignored.

I’d also love to see Bernard Cornwell’s The Winter King adapted sometime, it’s a re-telling of the King Arthur legend, but with a more realistic gritty approach and with Lancelot as the villain!

Shadowland by Peter Straub

'The Two Brothers' by Ben Elton.

there are a few ted chiang short stories that i would love to see get movie treatments, 'the merchant and the alchemist's gate' and 'the truth of fact, the truth of feeling' in particular.

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, but done correctly. The humour in this is right up Taika Waititi's alley.
