I find women to be interesting, so I particularly like films that include significant (I won't say "strong") female characters. Some from that era that come to mind are KLUTE, NETWORK, NASHVILLE, PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK, McCABE & MRS. MILLER, ALIEN...
And almost anything employing the Sylberts was beautiful to watch.
