List of best comedy tv series on dvd
I'm just finishing the last season of Seinfeld, and I'm at a loss as to what I'm going to choose next? Any ideas?

shareI'm loving Arrested Development, and just discovered another very likable series, Community! Fun!
shareHello fanaticita,
recently I found the 3-dvd-box of the 1st season of
"Silver Spoons" -
compared with most of the other series mentioned in the present thread, this one - made in the early 1980s - might be far too old (outdated, "covered with dust"... ;-) for being of interest for you...
As far as I'm concerned I admit that usually I'm not an ardent fan of Comedy series. But anything Ricky Schroder made for cinema and TV when he was young is "collectible" for me. (Some years ago I saw somewhere an episode of a TV talk show with various interviews; it was aired in 1979 or 1980, I think, i.e. shortly before or after The Champ came out... but I suppose it is only available on youtube. Would give a fortune if I only remembered from which show that was! Perhaps I could "track down" an edition on dvd...
Should you really take the time to take a look into "Silver Spoons", just let me know about your thoughts. AND feel free to correct me in case you have found any errors in the text you're just reading (English isn't my mother tongue; I've been long out of school, so I'm almost sure some typos and such are included. Especially about the correct prepositions I often feel uncertain. Grammar isn't that easy either. Or, maybe I'm just much too lazy to do exercises. ;-)
Kind regards

Hello again :-)
Just one question - a bit off-topic - please: How is that name Seinfeld pronounced correctly? The letters -ei- in the first syllable could sound either
a) like in the word "mine" or
b) like in the phrase "I have seen something."
Just give me a clue :-)
I'm very interested in books about history; there was a politician whose name I pronounced absolutely wrong for quite a while: I always thought Lord Curzon (you know, the "Curzon Line" as proposed eastern boundary for Poland after WW I) was to be pronounced "Curt-son"). Until I found a quote of him, jokingly saying about himself (I think it was during a parliamentary debate), "My name is Curzon, I'm a curious person"... LOL! :-)
Hmmm, I thought, NOW I see...: z = s and THEN it makes a rhyme ;-)
Kind regards

Other than whats already mentioned i would add Married with children. One of my favorites.
