It's pointless to even talk about it, because whatever legal proceeding could be initiated won't finish before Trumps 2nd term expires anyway.
It has happened in the past a few times, not only in the US but in other countries as well, that an election result has been published, a government has been formed and then it turned out that the correct result would have been the other party winning, never made a difference, once the result is officially declared that's it, wrong declaration is tough luck, better luck next time.
If anyone wants to prevent that, they should make sure that nobody can mess with the voting procedure and the counting of votes in advance of an election.
It's a long known fact that Republicans have setup voting districts in extremely weird shapes in some states, known as "gerrymandering", just to make sure that all the Democratic voters would be concentrated in just a few districts where they have huge majorities, while Rebublicans win with just a small majority most of the districts and thereby win the state.

Apparently Democrats have never even attempted doing anything against that, some federal judges have declared some of these districts unconstitutional, but they remain in place because Republican governors keep vetoing any new map, therefore Democrats now cannot complain about any suspected manipulation, because the most obvious manipulation happens in broad daylight.

Both parties gerrymander. Someone has to draw the maps.
I'm ashamed to admit it, but I don't know how California draws its maps. I have a faint recollection that Arnold Schwarzenegger got a law passed where maps would be drawn by some sort of "Citizens Committee." I don't know if it's made a material difference. California GOP every year tacks to the Mississippi platform. They've won like 2 statewide races in 28 years...

Yes, both parties do that, but since only the ones in government can redraw the map and the governor can veto a map he doesn't like, all you have to do to see who does most of it, is check how many of the 50 states currently have a Republican governor.
