Trump already backs down on Mexican tariffs. Mexico throws him a bone so he can claim total victory.

Well, that was predictable. I imagine something similar will happen with Canada.

Equally predictably, the right wing talking heads are just losing their minds praising their leader, despite the fact that it won't cut down on the supply of fentanyl here in the US. Most fentanyl is brought in with American citizens, and smugglers have many options to do it.

Can't wait to here how the fentanyl supply coming in through the Canadian border has been cut off due to Trump's tough negotiating. The 1 percent that of it that came into the country that way. LOL.

You Tube news channel. he cited a source, but I forget what it was. I'm pretty sure I've heard that elsewhere, too. We get very little fentanyl through Canada.

Mexico and Canada were going to hit us back with their own tariffs until they realized that they wouldn’t survive it, so they pleaded for mercy and Trump granted it … temporarily.

Caved to his demands. You're hilarious. All of you. He was demanding they stop fentanyl coming into the US but didn't really say anything specific about how he wanted them to do it. I'm not sure it's possible.

They throw him a bone by moving some troops, which isn't going to make a difference, but will any of the cultists remember or care if this gets any results? No. Nothing else has mattered. Why would this?

That deal with Canada was already in the works before the tariffs. Oh, the tzar is new. Having a tzar, big difference. I'm sure that couldn't have been achieved without these tariffs.

Yes, most of that was already in the works but Canada was uncooperative until Trump threatened them with the tariffs and they capitulated.

Mexico and Canada doing some insignificant thing which won't make a difference in fentanyl smuggling and they're talking like Trump's achieved some crushing victory. Ooo, their militaries are moving troops to the border. Mission accomplished. Jesus Christ.

Wouldn't surprise me if it's just a maneuver to enrich himself and his friends. Did Trump even bother asking Canada or Mexico to move more troops to the border before ordering the tariffs. Like, did Mexico and Canada even know that moving a few thousand troops to the border would be enough to stop doing the tariffs beforehand?
