A leaked email from John Brennan, former head of the CIA, indicates that he pressured other high ranking intelligence officials to claim the Hunter Biden laptop "had all the hallmarks of Russian disinformation" on the eve of a 2020 debate so that it would give Biden a talking point.

I'm not the one implying it is true, Do you have an original source, or is this all you have? I am not saying the claims are necessarily fake - but X is a site famously without quality control. And it might just be me but this remarkable story cannot be found anywhere else.

No; how it works is those making extraordinary claims need to do more than just quote a partisan site with no quality control and hope to be believed. I can't find any other reference on line, and one would presume this would make some waves, but no, Sorry about that.

They didn't lie. They just stated that this laptop reveal had all the hallmarks of a Russian disinformation campaign. The letter is available for all to read. Rudy Giuliani managed to get these hard drives and he has been discredited in so many ways. There is even some doubt over how the hard drives arrived at that computer repair shop and whether it was legal to share the data on the hard drives.

You even tried some whataboutism with the dossier that has never been disproved I have no doubt that Donald Trump would have gone upstairs to watch a couple Russian models have a golden shower on a bed. Look at how many women have accused Trump of sexual assault. Trump also partied with Epstein, Hefner and Diddy!

The Russia investigation was not a hoax. They just made the mistake of hiring a dotard to lead the investigation.

It’s remarkable you’re using a law student semantic argument over someone misrepresenting the words of these corrupt spies. If they meant for the to be read with the hair splitting you’re applying, they should’ve cleared it up on October 19th, 2020. That was the day the media broke the story Brennan’s aide brought it to Politico to be released to the world. The headline of that article: “Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say.” In response to that uniform corporate media reporting, there was nothing but crickets from the 50 spies about bing misinterpreted.

And if he didn’t do it on October 19th, 2020, Brennan surely should have said something on October 22nd, when President Biden (for God’s sake) in a debate with Trump said “there are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that [the laptop story] is a Russian plan,” and “five former heads of the CIA… say what he’s [Trump’s] saying is a bunch of garbage.” A John Brennan as defensive of a misunderstanding as you on this subject would have corrected President Biden to avoid the impact on the most important election in maybe a decade. And of course, he didn’t.

The former intel personnel issued the letter so voters would read it. Voters don't have to rely on corporate media or social media to tell them how the letter reads. They just need to read the letter. The letter advised people that the Hunter Biden laptop was a potential Russian disinformation operation. There were no lies.

It has never been established how Hunter Biden's files ended up in that computer repair shop. The owner could not verify who gave him the data. Hunter Biden was having affairs with Russian escorts so it is possible that Russia obtained the data. The Russian mafia is here in the US and there are ties between the Kremlin and the Russian mafia.

They knew it was legitimate and not the result of Russian disinformation. But they strongly encouraged the public to believe the opposite. It was thoroughly dishonest. But if you want to hang your hat on that bit of semantics, have at it. It says a lot about your moral compass.

E-mails, pictures and videos can be fabricated so there is no way to tell which ones are real. Hunter Biden's exploits are irrelevant because he wasn't running for office.

Yes, they can be faked. The problem with your story is that the FBI was the first ti gain possession of the hard drive. Do you think they did the faking? And even if you believe the shop owner somehow created a tranche of fake files, wouldn't the FBI, with all its experts, be well equipped to discover such, thus discrediting the entire laptop story? Funny that they never did that.

Instead at the very highest level of our government, powerful people knowingly tried (and succeeded) to tamper with an election. And that's why all these agencies need to be burned to the ground.

I'm not sure if the FBI was the first to obtain the hard drive data since Giuliani also had copies. I don't believe the FBI would fake the files but I'm confident that Russia would create fakes. I doubt any of the data would be admissible in court because it was illegally obtained and it was corrupted data.

The people who signed the letter were all FORMER intel officials so the federal government did not interfere in the election. It's not election interference since Hunter Biden's extracurricular activites are just a distraction. I'm confident that most US citizens do not support Donald Trump's unconstitutional attempts to shut down federal agencies.

Adam Schiff should be in prison for perjury and witness tampering Alexander Vindman in the second impeachment scam. He openly bragged about coaching Vindman before the hearings.
