Liberals have more mental issues.

This is old news. This has been the case for at least 20 years now. Every time they do this study or survey it's always the same result.

Not a miracle, liberals are more aware of the level of authoritarian patronizing coming from governments and they don't want that, while conservatives usually think everybody else should be patronized and ignore that they themselves are included in "everybody".
Liberals realize there's nothing they can do about it, because parties that would be in the liberal half of the political spectrum are all below 1%, even in the most liberal parts of the western world, namely western Europe, percentages of voters for liberal parties usually are in the single digits.

So what do you expect from people who see the problem and know they can't do anything about it, other than getting mental issues?
If someone doesn't see the problem, they have no health issues from it.

There's a saying that get's it to the point, that goes like this.
When you're dead that's not hard for you, it's only hard for the others.
The same applies when you're stupid.

I could have told you that years ago. Even as a kid, something never felt right to me about their mindset.

And for the record, Conservatives do address their own mental issues and go get them worked on professionally, we just don't turn them into a feature and let them rule our lives, unlike liberals.

Liberals may have more mental issues, but they are better educated.

Highly educated adults – particularly those who have attended graduate school – are far more likely than those with less education to take predominantly liberal positions across a range of political values. And these differences have increased over the past two decades.

So am I, since the X link is for a survey which merely says liberals are 'less satisfied' with their mental health - a different emphasis. Also, may be it is just me, but a scrutiny of the actual survey

quoted, supposedly from 2022, does not reveal such a graph there at all. I am happy to be corrected. It can also be noted that conservatives are less likely to acknowledge and/or seek help for mental health issues at all, especially if they are religious which, at least in the US, goes hand in hand. Studies have shown for years that conservative ideology stigmatized mental health.

That conservatives find it much tougher to admit certain things to themselves/others and also seek help for mental issues is nothing new.

Already in the 80s we saw clear signs of this when far more conservatives answered "nothing" to questions like what would you do if you felt Inexplicably nervous and sweated a lot more for 14 days in a row.

And since then, every study seems to suggest the same.
