Correct. We had no role in slavery or colonialism — in fact, we were slaves ourselves at one point. That’s why Polish people like me don’t carry any 'White guilt'. And unlike other Whites, we openly express our views about other races instead of bending over backward to prove how anti-racist we are.

We’re still White, though. It sounds like you have some unconventional views about race. Stop making things more complicated than they have to be. Anyone native to Europe is White, and I’d include some Russians in that category too. Why divide ourselves when we should be united, especially since we’re already such a small global minority?

Censuses, common throughout the world, are a prime example of a survey which asks questions about race. And it was not a deflection,but a valid comparison.

It may be noted that many on this board care about the distinction between races for less innocuous reasons; in fact that is the basis of much of hate-fuelled ideology on the right. Shall I put your "Only a racist would care about this." to them?
