It seems the leftists like to use Fox News as their Big Boogeyman for some reason, especially in an age where viewership is not consistent across the board like in the days before the internet.

I see Fox News(and cable news in general) as controlled opposition by the government to keep the masses enraged at each other and not them...where the anger should be directed like it would have been had the Occupy Movement not been sabotaged.

So I'm curious...who on the board actually watches Fox News?

well its a kinda right leaning outlet , although thy've toned down the the totally outrages bullshit comnspiract theories - ie "printing what Trump says" after the 800m fine , so that lost them a few maga viewers
Still not something anytone left watch , except for comedy

Thing is nobody on the right will admit to using *any* specific source , presumably in case they admit Trump is not god.
So you wont get anyone in this poll admitting they watch Fox

Yeah but the scope of projection leftists use fox news to insult others is off the charts crazy. Like Fox News is literally some Demi-God that has magical powers to force people to believe things the leftists don't.

People on the right do not do this. They attack the sources directly for being liars, which they are. I don't think I've ever seen anyone use CNN or MSNBC to disparage another person directly. The action in of itself is fucking cringing every time I see it. It's basically an NPC dialog option at this point.

Perfect example of this happened to me Saturday night...

I was sitting next to some lefty chick that was drunk at the bar. She was going on and on about how servers get fucked over on tip-taxing.

So I said "There's a candidate that wants to abolish taxes on tips!".... Instantly, like a light switch, she says "Are you a republican? Do you watch Fox News?" The NPC meme in real time.

Yes this happened in real life. After about 10 minutes of talking to her, she isn't voting for Biden anymore. She said she probably won't for Trump, but I was able to take another vote away from Joe!

Yes I guess thats because in its heyday before the fine, When Fox & Trump were a team , theyd print anything the maga wanted to hear and magas lapped it up.

They were the definitive Right wing mouthpiece, now , after the fine , not so much .
i guess lefties got used to saying "go back to your fox news"
Now that righties wont specify where they get there news i guess fox retains the title somewhat.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone use CNN or MSNBC to disparage another person directly.
pretty sure ive seen that:
Numerous posts along the lines of "Oh you read that on CNN? , thats obvious MSM lies , wake up sheeple!

also "CNN" could be substituted for literally any other news outlet INCLUDING FOX , and get the same reply .

CNN and MSNBC spread conspiracy theories in 2017, remember Russian collusion? the only person to get fined for spreading fake news/creating fake documents was Hillary, she was fined a whopping $8,000. it was ok to suggest the election was stolen in 2016 but if you suggested the election was stolen in 2020 you were a heretic and you would be cancelled/fined/jailed/ostracized/etc. after all these years, I am still amazed at all the things liberals can get away with.

I did years ago, but got rid of cable. it was hard at first not having DVR but I am glad I did it. I am glad that Fox exists because without them we would be no better than China or NK as every other news outlet is liberal.

Not really. I never just sit and watch the news, of any flavor. I'll occasionally watch Gutfeld, because he's hilarious.

IMHO, this is the operative difference. We know Fox is biased, that's why we would watch it. Because a conservative cannot stand the obvious bias on other networks. Liberals have no clue that every other network is blatantly biased to the left. They think it's actual news.

I think 'they' think we are brainwashed by Fox because we must be, they're brainwashed by CNN/MSNBC. It's a dumb assumption made by dumb people who are clueless about those they hate. They just do as they're told.

I occasionally tune in to see what they are covering instead of whatever the current big story that everyone else is covering, but which is embarrassing to them.
