Shares of Trump Media, the majority Trump-owned parent of the right-wing social media platform Truth Social, fell 11% Monday to just above $36.
That’s some 54% below the peak $79 per share Trump Media fetched on March 26, its first day of trading under its DJT ticker upon the completion of its reverse merger with blank-check company Digital World Acquisition Corp.
The value of Trump’s 58% stake in Trump Media, has accordingly cratered in the 13-day stretch, falling from $6.25 billion to $2.86 billion.
That knocked his net worth from its March peak of more than $7 billion to $4.7 billion, according to Forbes’ estimates.
Yes, I purchased 20 shares at $65. So, if I was to sell them right now, I'd only get back $740. Also, the $1300 I used to initially purchase them, came from my brokerage account which the money itself was generated from the dividends of my other stocks.
Essentially house money.
I did literally nothing to generate it...so why do I care? My other investments will continue to fill up the brokerage account that I can use on whatever I want, because I can. And who knows, maybe some day those shares will go back up after he wins in November. If it goes to zero, it goes to zero...
some people spend over $5,000 a year on lattes...
What is Investing 099? Don't you mean 101?
099s are classes in college that are pre-101s for really slow students....you didn't know that?

LMAO, my signature is a reaction to you being a creepy stalker. It's basic child psychology. In fact, if you left me alone, it would come off just like everyone else's has. You and Robo are so obsessed and TDS ridden you can't even manage to leave me alone for a few days to allow me to get bored with it.
There's only 2 reasons for your behavior... if your a dude, its an online stalker situation...if your a chick, you probably wanna rip my clothes off and make sweet sweet love to me. I'm a bit of a liberal slayer, so it doesn't surprise me.
I mock your dopey decision to buy crappy DJT stock.
Sounds more like your jelly because I can drop $1300 on anything I want and not give 2 fucks about it. Not many people can do that. Most people can't even deal with a unplanned expense of $500.
stock values aren't based on cult membership
Hahaha, stocks are heavily valued on feelings. If people are optimistic about a company, they will invest and the stock rises. When FUD happens, people sell out and the stock tanks. Trump winning will make people think and feel that the good times of pre-2020 are coming back and they will start investing.
Look...there's 2 things you can do here. Leave me alone(or be civil), and Robo can be the last one on the list until he comes back to earth. Or, continue this little game of yours and I'll keep playing because it takes zero effort on my part to do so.

Correct, that's why diversification is a thing. Since I've heavily diversified my investments...I couldn't care less if something drops a bit, while others rise. It's like an ocean...ebbs and flows, my friend.
PMs and real estate are on the up, up, up!!

I think he was pretty clear that he was talking about holding a diverse portfolio of overall investments, not necessarily equities. You're the one who sounds confused.
I know exactly what Mr. Feelings meant. He's attempting to make excuses for losing half his money buying a crappy stock.
re: diversification. If it really worked, then most Americans wouldn't repeatedly lose most of their investments during Bear markets. It's common for "diverse" assets to sink together.
She knows what I mean. She is just mad that I can live the way I want, and do what I want without some woman controlling my every action. She is super jelly because I can drop cash money on whatever I want, be perfectly okay with losing it because I'll just make more tomorrow.
Case in point: Spot price for silver just went up to over $28. I'm currently a 1%'er silver stacker and I bought the majority of my stack in 2022 during the $18 dip. Street prices for my rounds have shot up from $30 to $45-50 an ounce, and my PSLV shares have risen to over $8/share. I'm realllly not concerned about 20 measly shares of DJT. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Oh yeah, gold is up to $2400/oz.... so the gold I bought at the $1900/oz dip must really be doing well!
My house has gained almost double the value of what I paid for it, not based on all the upgrades and modifications I've made to it.
I do have Mutual Funds in the form of my 401k, which I have dollar matching, invest 6%, and I currently save 27% of my paycheck monthly.
Anyways, it's all good. I see it as the butt-hurt loser that wastes $5,000 a year drinking Starbuck's shitty lattes, talking down to someone that can do what they want and not care regardless of what happens. It's a losers, jealous mentality. It's also what the ladies do when they want you and can't have you...try to endlessly shame you. 🤣
